Ingrid’s Country Blackberry Cobbler!   

Serves 8 

Local blackberries and marionberries are hitting the farmers markets now.  Take advantage of summers berries and enjoy this delicious never fail cobbler shared from our guest Ingrid years ago. Wonderful served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!

2 c fresh blackberries

1/2 c sugar

6 Tbsp butter

3/4 c flour

1 c sugar

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

3/4 c milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Stir 1/2 c sugar with the fruit and set aside.  

Melt butter in  2Q baking pan.  

Sift next 4 ingredients together, then add milk.  

Pour batter into pan of melted butter; do not mix.  

Pour fruit over batter.

Bake for 50 minutes.
